VR Glasses Commercial | Thesis Project, NABA Milan
Collaborated with two classmates to produce a thesis-level commercial for an innovative VR-glasses concept, blending RED Komodo live-action plates with fully CG environments created in Unreal Engine.
My contributions:
• Designed on-set lighting for accurate reference and smoother CG integration
• Built and lit the entire space environment in Unreal, then composited all related shots that open the film
• Composited and integrated two key football-sequence shots (running and goal)
• 3D-scanned the physical glasses, animated the asset, and delivered the final product shot
The project followed an end-to-end professional pipeline—AI-assisted previs, RED Komodo capture on 35 mm optics, and full post in Nuke and Unreal—demonstrating advanced visual storytelling through the seamless fusion of live action, CG, and AI-driven workflows.
